A Writer’s Health

It’s pretty easy to become intemperate when you’re a writer. Long hours at the computer, or even bent over an old-fashioned notebook take their toll. Forgetting to keep hydrated, turn down the PC screen brightness, choking from all the dust you didn’t wipe away and becoming a desk potato are all symptoms of a lack of balance. I know it’s hard to get up and take a break when the words seem to be flowing well with no end in sight, but it’s best not to always wait until your brain feels dead and empty before you rest (just because you had to). You’ll find that you make fewer errors, and your writing will have a much better quality if you take care of your health as much as you do your manuscripts. Remember, if you lose your health, you’ll lose your ability to write.

Aah! You know that’s like death to true writer. So yes…please take care of yourselves…
